I'm wondering if there is a TV program that will work better than what I have tried?
Both KdeTV and XawTV have features that I like, but they crash too often to make them usable. MoTV works best on my SuSe 10.0, but it's fullscreen mode is mostly a thick black border around a picture only slightly larger than in TV mode. Also, it mutes some stations even when the picture is adequate. I'm just using an antenna, but the reception is better on the card, than on my regular TV, so I would really like to make it better.

EDIT: I just begun working with Zapping, so I'm not sure about it, but my first impression is that it is a bit featureless.

After working with Zapping a bit more, I find that there is little difference between it and XawTV, except that it replaces the black border with a white one in fullscreen. It still mutes sound on acceptable pictures, even though I have set it to not mute at anytime in the preferences.
