Hi,

I have been trying to get Windows Live Messenger to work on my Vista 32bit Ultimate for a whole year now with no luck. I have tried almost all of the suggestions i found on the internet but none seem to work for me.

Is there a new fix for this problem? I can't believe that Micro$oft is killing their new OS more by not fixing these stupid mistakes and glitches

If anyone heard of this issue or have an answer, please let me know so i can fix this, even if it is a year old problem ..

Appreciate it, thanks

I have found a solution for the messenger error 70080005 :)
goto your windows user accounts in the control panel and create
a temp account then go back to your usual account and change your
account type to standard user, now go back into your usual account
change it back into administrator, now delete your temp account
hey presto you can now use messenger live !
I hope this helps ;)
