    Hi,

Since I have Vista (Home Premium) I can't load certain livestreams (streams from live channels), either from a browser link or from the mediacenter-component or in a web-based player. Examples of such streams are:

    http://switch.streamgate.nl/cgi-bin/streamswitch?streamid=86&a=.asx
http://switch.streamgate.nl/cgi-bin/streamswitch?streamid=88&a=.asx ( <--- this channels content MIGHT not always be suitable for minors )

The same type of streams do load in XP (with Windows Mediaplayer 11 b├Ęta) on the same computer without any problem. When opening the above links from Vista it just won't open at all, and in a web-based player they will stay on 'buffering' or 'opening ...'

Who knows what could be the cause of this? Is there something I could change in my settings or is it just an incompatible stream (-type) ?

    Thanks in advance...

    Elean

I'm also curious if there's (at all) someone who can open one of the above streams from within Windows Vista? So even if you don't know the solution, but you can open one of the links please tell me.
