    Hey guys,

    I'm new in IT. I 'm trying to in Win 98 and when l use a working boot disk it get a message of "No fixed disk on C" with anything l try like fdisk.exe or format.com etc. What should l do?

    Check to make sure the cables are connected properly. Make sure that you have the jumpers on the HD set to master. Is it being recognised in the bios ? It should be set to auto detect. Finally ......the drive could be bad.
