    Hi all,

    The Local Security Policy snap-in fails to initialize. I'm getting the following message...

    Snap-in failed to initialize.
    Name: <Unknown>
    CLSID:{8FCOB734-A0E1-11D1-A7D3-0000F87571E3}

    OS is WinXP Pro and I have administrative priviledges.

    Tried the Microsoft solution on adding the WBEM folder to the Path Environment Variable as per

    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;826282

    but that also didnt solve the problem

    Help appreciated.
