Is there a way of locking the icons on the desktop so they stay in that position please?
    Thanks. Wibley.

Yes, Right click the desktop, select "View", and clear the check mark at "Auto Arrange"

Thanks, Elvandil. I use Icon Restore on XP machines and was disappointed last December when it wouldn't work on Vista. I now see that it was updated in January.

Don't know. I have 2 separate ones on Vista (one that remembers the icons for each resolution) and they work fine for me.
