After I start my computer today, I found that I can't log in everything including forum, email, etc. So I choose to post here for help.

My computer is windows2000 with sp4 installed. Thanks in advance!

    Hi, Please try:

    Reregister the SSL security libraries
On the Start menu, click Run.
Type each of the following commands in the Open box, press ENTER key after each. After each command is executed successfully, you will receive a "DllRegisterServer succeeded" message. Wait until you receive this message before continuing to the next command.

    REGSVR32 softpub.dll
    REGSVR32 wintrust.dll
    REGSVR32 initpki.dll
    REGSVR32 Rsaenh.dll
    REGSVR32 Mssip32.dll
    REGSVR32 Cryptdlg.dll
    REGSVR32 Dssenh.dll
    REGSVR32 Gpkcsp.dll
    REGSVR32 Slbcsp.dll
    REGSVR32 Sccbase.dll

Try something that did not work like email or a secure sign-in site.

Let me know if that helps.

I tried every commands, but it said that can not locate REGSVR32 Sccbase.dll

Is REGSVR32 Sccbase.dll that cause the problem?

Hi, I am not sure but will see what I can find for you. Sometimes, not every .dll file is on the system so you see errors when trying to re-register that list.

Did you try using the logins that you could not get into yet?

Was only that one .dll not found, the rest said "successful"?

Missing sccbase.dll is not a problem with Windows 2000 Pro.

I think the Msft KB mentions that.
