log on problem

    Hi Tech Guys, merry xmas & a happy new year to you all, I am having a problem with my desk top, when I try to log on my password the dots just stream to fill up the line it wont allow me too type in my password can anyone help. Thank you Glennabilly.:(

    Can you highlight the dots and delete them?

    Then enter the password?

    Sounds like a stuck keyboard key.

    tried that it didn't work but after turning computer off for an hour it booted up ok no problem with password, but next day same problem we have had a lot of rain here in SE Qld Aust so Iam thinking moisture is the problem, I will let you know what happens if we dont go under had about 36" in the last week. Thanks Glennabilly
