Log on Problems

    Hi all,

    Hope some one can help, my Sytem is running Windows XP Home.

    When I turn on my System I get to the login screen, i click on my icon, it logs me in then immediatly logs me out,

    Anyone know why this happens or how to fix it.

    Desparately Yours.....:eek:

    Try to boot to safe mode. First just try normal safe mode, then no networking, then command prompt only. If any of these work run 'msconfig' either from a command prompt or the Start->Run facility.

    From here click on boot.ini and check /BOOTLOG. Click ok, and reboot normally.

    If your immediate logout happens again, then boot back to safe mode, and review the bootlog file.
