Hey, I was thinking about buying a Logitech MX510 mouse for the holidays but I read it uses USB 1.1 and not 2.0. Would this affect the general performance of the mouse, like in games for example?

I run one of those.. very nice mouse.

USB 2.0 is backwards-compatable with 1.1 So, if you plug a 1.1 device into a 2.0 USB slot, it will work just fine, like mine does :)

Do yourself a favor. I use the MX510 right now and it is a good mouse.....BUT the MX518 is what i would go with if i were to buy a mouse today.

If you can afford it the G5 or the G7 are also excellent choices.
