i've googled myself in circles with this one. i have two accounts, mine which is admin and passworded, and my wife's which has no password. it is a desktop and i have the screensaver set to come on in 15 mins and the "on resume, display logon screen" checkbox checked. i also have the display set to turn off after 20 mins and never put to sleep. if the display is off, whenever i hit a key to turn it back on, it automatically logs in to my wife's account. even if i her account was logged of before.

Try hitting Windows key + R Type control userpasswords2 Highlight each account and check the box "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" Log off and you should have the option to login on either account.

all those checkboxes were already checked. I can logoff manually and it works, the issue is when my display gets turned off, when i come back to it, it automatically logs on to my wifes account.
