    Hey,

Nevr got much into editing pics and such, so I thought I'd come to the pros and ask ya'll.

I'm basically looking for an editing tool that will allow me to edit any .jpg/.gif/etc. Even though it would be nice, I am not in search of a photo editing tool. Just something I can use to manipulate any clip art or similar type file. Paintshop is just WAY TOO basic and limited.

    Thanks

Try Irfanview or Orien's Enhancer Gold. The Irfanview is still freeware. You might have to look a bit for the 2.6 version of Orien's. I think it is the last free version. I may be wrong on that one though. Do a google on it.

GIMP is probably the 800 LB gorilla of free graphic editors, it should do all you need.

If you go to www.nonags.com and look around there is a section there of graphics editors. You might find something. You don't have to be a member to download from there. Liz
