when we use our GateWay Laptop & a Targus Universal Docking Station.

If I keep the laptop hardwired to the network, no problems. Apps run fine accessing the network. When I use the Docking station, and have the network drop plugged into it, I have 2 apps that loose the network resources.

The docking station did come with software which I installed prior to using it. The OS running is Windows XP prof.

    Any ideas ?

Here's just one review of that station:

You might try downloading a driver update for it from Targus: http://www.targus.com/us/product_Details.asp?SKU=ACP50US

Appreciate the link and info. I would have never have thought to look up a review on a universal docking station. We're going to keep her hardwired to the network this week, and see if the problems go away. Then next week throw her back on the Docking station and see if the apps loose sight of the network.

    Thanks again.
