Lose audio with Remote Desktop

I use a Vista Ultimate machine as a Remote Desktop (RDP) server and two XP Pro machines as clients. Clients are configured to bring the audio from the server, but the audio cuts out after a few minutes of use. It returns after I disconnect, then re-connect.

But this doesn't happen when I use the two XP Pro machines as server/client. Nor does it happen when the Vista machine is client.

All machines have all current Windows upgrades.

Has anyone heard of this? Anyone have any ideas?
