Have been actively using Wireless G WTR54G router with multiple laptops working just fine. a few days ago, I started losing signal frequently and many times could not get back on. Problem affected all computers. If I connect via hardwire everything works fine. I even went out and bought a newer WRT54GS and am having the same problem. I have not made any changes in the house(ie new phone or microwave). Any suggestions welcome!

Try changing channels on the router, it's the top suspect for this kind of issue. Your neighbor may have installed his new wireless network. :)
