    Hello,
    Help is needed with Win XP Pro, Network is connected and I can see and exchange
    data with my other PCs on the network but this one PC will not access the internet. Sometimes a reboot will work but only for a short time.
    Any ideas?

    What browsers are you using? Is it just IE

    Quick Test:

    Open cmd prompt.
    Click Start -> run
    Type cmd
    In the cmd prompt type: ping 72.14.207.99
    This is the address for google, so we would be testing your internet connection.

    Post the results and we'll see what's happening.
    It might be an IE problem but then again.........
    Hope it helps

    Sounds like malware if it has access then loses it.

    OK, no pings work. Am using Internet Explorer, Avant and netscape all with the same results. I scaned system with AVG, SUPER Anti spyware and threatfire and nothing showes up. This intermittent stuff does not play fair.
