    Hi
    I am seriously in need of help.
    I run Windows 7 on a Dell laptop. I have a folder on Desktop that contains several folders. Each folder in turn contains several sub folders. Each sub folder has jpgs and all was fine until now. However, I now find all the sub folders are empty and thus my jpgs are gone.
    What have I done and how do I recover. I did not delete the jpgs!
    Urgent help needed, please.
    Ken

    maybe you just make them invisible by accident. check this screenshot . if you delete by accident , then you need some software to recover . upload_2016-8-22_17-40-41.png

    You can also right click on the folder and see if there's a "Restore Previous Versions" option.

    I assume these were not backed up?

    Reply to Wane:
    It finds the "deleted or Lost pics", but when trying to open the folder it says file does not exist.
    Thanks,
    Ken

    To Bailifeifei;
    Control Pnl does not have Appearance & Personalisation, just Personalisation and that does not have a View tab ?
    Thanks, Ken
