Lost icons for network and dial-up

I have lost the icons for network and dial up in the folder My Network Place also when I log on to the inter net I do not have the Icon of the two blue Pcs in the task bar the one you can click on to see your conection and also can click to disconect fron the internet
Can anyone help?
