I've managed to loose my address bar in IE 5.5........

I tried right clicking up top and it shows it to be checked already along with the standard buttons and the links......

I've rebooted and still no joy, am I gonna have to run the IE repair tool option or what?

    Howdy

You didn't happen to hide it... move the arrow up towards the standard button bar til it changes to the double arrow then left click and drag it down.

    hope it's that simple

The separators. What Buck was talking about only from right to left instead of up and down.

Did you try going from right to left with the double arrow? It could just be that you've hidden it and not lost it.

When you right click, uncheck standard and see what happens.

    Check this out..........

I type in my last reply and hit send........the screen goes black, not a BSOD just black and it remains black for like 15 seconds (I was gonna pull the plug, but I waited) then I hear the shutdown beep of the bios, and it reboots all by itself..........

That is a first.......a self imposed reboot, then a scandisk, followed by I don't know what and then finally my desktop.

I launch explorer and here I am,and I've yet to run the repair option.
Doyce it's all your fault, you broke it.
