My Windows 10 laptop suddenly lost connection and idk why. I tried putting an ethernet cable but it didnt connect. The network connection files were empty. How do I fix this?
?I tried putting an ethernet cable but it didnt connect.
Actually I only use wireless connections in my laptop so is it necessary to update the Realtek aswell?Your first image shows the Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 wireless device has driver version 12.0.0.722 which is dated August 22, 2018.
Your second image shows it has vendor code 168C and device code 0042.
The current driver located for it is version 12.0.0.953 which is dated June 14, 2020.

Your third image shows the Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller ethernet device has driver version 10.10.714.2016 which is dated July 14, 2016.
Your fourth image shows it has vendor code 10EC and device code 8168 - which identifies it as a Realtek RTL8168 ethernet device.
The current driver located for it is version 10.49.413.2021 which is dated May 19, 2021.

You should consider updating the driver for both the wireless and ethernet devices.
Doing that may resolve your connection issue.

No, if you don't use a wired ethernet connection and isn't concerned about having a current driver for the ethernet device.I only use wireless connections in my laptop so is it necessary to update the Realtek as well?
You will need to use a computer which has a working internet connection and can load a browser window.how do I update my laptop adapters if I cant open my browser?
What do I do next?I have no idea what you're showing me in your partially visible image in post #12.
This is what the driver file for the Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 wireless device looks like when you download and save it.

All you need to do is double-click it to start the install process.
From what I can see in your image, it looks like you extracted the contents of that executable file.

Still didn't work Also an error pops up everytime I tried to install so I pressed retry a lot of times.View attachment 288554
It's advising you the install of the wireless driver was successful.
Close the box and then restart your laptop.

How do I do that?According to the 4 shots in post #5, both the wireless (Qualcomm) and the wired (Realtek) are installed.
