I just had a virus that wiped out my Windows ME. When I bought my computer they did not give me a CD for this program or for the Microsoft Works 2000 or Microsoft Money 2000. Is that they way it is supposed to be or are they to include the CD's? I have some of my money files but it won't setup as some are missing. Any ideas on how to get the CD's, it's been three years since I bought the computer.

Usually, they are supposed to give you the CD's for it or a recovery CD so in the chance of a virus or some other fault so that you can recovery the data and still be ok.
I would go back to the place where you bought it and to see if they can load these programs back for you, it could be for small fee, I don't know.
Otherwise you could go onto Ebay(www.ebay.com.au) and do a search there to buy the CD's of Windows ME, Microsoft Works 2000 & Microsoft Money 2000. Also another option, you could buy the current Microsoft Works & Microsoft Money and the current operating system.
These are only suggestions and I hope this helps.

If the OS was preinstalled AND it's an OEM version the install CABS are suppose to be under c:\windows\options\cabs
Try pointing the installer there when it asks for your disk
