We can access our upstairs computers (WIN 98) from our main office computer (XP).
However, lately we can not print to the main office printer from any of our upstairs computers. We also cannot get the upstairs computers to recognize the main office computer.
Error messages include: "User intervention required"
"This network printer is currently offline"
This is a recent problem. The upstairs computers have been able to print to the office printer for more than a year.
I have checked and there is no firewall enabled, I reinstalled updated printer drivers on the win98 machines, the print spooler is set to automatic, and I checked the share permissions.
How can the network have developed this one-way problem?
Any ideas?
