Hello everyone, I encounter low fps in games that I shouldn't. For example, in Dota 2 i have sometimes 60-80 fps in some moments 100 but rarely..But sometimes I have 40-60 max.. It really bothers me. I actually tried to lower graphics but not with a noticeable improvement. I play other games too with same low performance. Can somebody help?

I have latest drivers and windows updated.

I have:
AMD Ryzen 5 1400
8gb ram
Radeon RX 590 (XFX fatboy 8gb)

These are the performance scores for your computer's AMD processor and AMD graphics card:

Since you use your computer for gaming, why does it have only 8 GB of RAM?
You should add another 8 GB and run it with 16 GB.

What's the brand name and model number and wattage of the power supply?
It should be a "quality" unit which has sufficient wattage to handle the power needs of all the hardware in your computer.

Thanks for the reply. I think that most of the games dont need more than 8gb right now. I plan to upgrade but I definitely meet recommended specs. As for the psu I use the "thermaltake sps - 630mpcdeu smart se 630watt". I dont know much about hardware but I 've been told it is enough and thermaltake is trusted brand. Do you think its power related issue? Thanks again.

I'm not a hardware/gaming expert, so my input here is somewhat limited.
Hopefully, someone else here who is will jump to help you.

We don't know how well you maintain your computer or which apps are installed and running in it.
That can have a noticeable impact on speed and performance.

Your computer is running Windows 10 Home Version 1809 Build 17763 64-bit.
You say it's using a third-party antivirus app - Avast Antivirus
You should consider removing it and sticking with Windows 10's built-in antivirus app - Windows Security
Windows 10 tends not to do well in some computers when using a third-party antivirus app.

I personally trust Windows Security more than I trust Avast Antivirus.
WS also isn't as system-hungry as AA is.

thats why you'r performance is low, you'r ram works on single channel and you got a ryzen cpu which works better on dual channel ram.

single channel use only one lane of the motherboard which causes bottleneck. dual channel uses both lanes of the motherboard hence you'll get more performance especially using ryzen cpu which benefits even more in dual channel.
you need to add another stick of ram of same brand as you'rs to the second lane of you'r motherboard.

Ok so I need to buy more ram. But is this the only problem? Should it make so much impact? Im like 100 fps short i feel like in games like dota 2 and csgo.
