I uninstalle my extra media players to just use windows media player, I ended up with low speaker volume even though I have maximised all speaker settings. Anyone have a fix for this problem?

I do not have external speakers. I have a Toshiba Satillite laptop. Sometihng is amiss with the software or hardware that controls the internal speakers. Maybe a driver?

Uninstalling media players shouldn't affect the driver. Double-click the speaker icon near the clock, make sure all the sliders are up and nothing is muted (besides Mic and possibly Line-in). Open the program you are currently using for media and make sure it's volume is up.

If your laptop has any HotKeys for volume make sure they are turned up. Lastly, I've seen some laptops that had physical volume wheels (like on old school walkmans). Check the laptop sides, if it's got a wheel, turn it up.

    I have maximized the:

    volume icon on the toolbar
volume control in the sound button in the Control Panel
volume control in the Yamaha-AG button in the Control Panel

    And nothing!
