This is nothing new with Windows 10.
Since its first release in July 2015, and with every bi-annual update since then, Windows 10 comes with 35 - 40 bloatware apps.
The vast majority of them are useless and unneeded by me, so removing them is one of the first things I do after a clean install of Windows 10.
Removing them also allows Windows 10 to run better.

Every update from M$ I've had there has never been any bloatware apps installed.

Updates are different that clean installs. An update does not [generally] install unwanted programs or apps. A clean install of win10pro however installs quite a bit of unwanted/unneeded stuff. Enterprise is better for this however there are still a few things that get installed.
It is a simple matter to install CCleaner and have that program uninstall all of the "Stuff"

Yep. The "Tools - Uninstall" feature of Piriform CCleaner is what I use to get rid of the majority of them. (y)

I did a clean install today of Windows 10 Pro Version 1809 OS Build 17763.1 64-bit.
A total of 46 bloatware apps were listed.
I used Piriform CCleaner to remove 44 of them that I have no need for. (y)
