    hello

a friend of mine is setting up a recording studio at the heart of this studio he wants to have a mactintosh g4 for his cubase applications and all now i know something of pc's but im not familiar with mac

i would just like to know what things we should pay attention to
(were gonna buy it secondhand) to make sure were making a good bargain.

i would describe this as a semi-professional studio with the potential of expanding seriously so i would like to make sure that
we buy the right gear from the start

Maybe someone should move this to the "DOS/Mac/PDA/Other" forum.

Er should be talking with others who have home recording studios about SOFTWARE and such.... a G4 tower is more than enough power... and should be cheap nowadays... by MAC standards.
