Whenever I boot my macbook, I am able to log into my account and fully use the keyboard and the tracker pad but whenever I get logged in, I cannot use the tracker pad and a screen pops up showing that it is searching for a wireless keyboard. I have contacted apple support but they want me to set up an appointment with the Apple store to have it looked at, and I don’t want to do that. Please help! Thanks in advance.

Have you checked your account settings and is your bluetooth activated?

I did a bad job at explaining my problem lol. I don’t have a wireless keyboard or mouse, my computer seemed to put itself into search mode all by itself. I am unable to do anything at all but log into my account but once I am in, the tracking pad it’s unable to be used.

Can you log on your MAC using a different account?
