Hi,

I’m relative new in Mac World and I just purchased a Mac Book for my daughter. She can't print thru our home network. I have a Linksys PSUS4 Print server, I can't find the drivers for MAC in the Linksys Web Site. Any suggestions will be appreciate.

Thanks

Hi, what you need to do is find the IP address of the print server on the network, and the queue name. You might be able to find this information on your router setup page, or another PC that can connect to the print server. Then, in Printer Setup Utility, select IP Printing, and enter in the IP address and queue name, then select the driver. Sadly, many printer companies don't make their Mac drivers compatible with network printers, so you may be able to the open-source Gutenprint drivers.

If you need any more help, just ask.

Thank you!!! I'll check the Gutenprint web site for the drivers, I think, this is what I was looking for. Thanks again.
