Macromedia Flash MX 2004 is running great on my Xp sp3 but when I installed it on my son's laptop that is running Win.7(64 bit) every few minutes the program closes with a message"Macromedia Flash has encountered a problem and needs to close". Can somebody tell me is this program just not compatible with Win.7 and is there anything I can do to fix it? Thanks!

The "2004" in the title refers to a year, right? Vista was released end of '06, beginning of '07. Windows 7 was released October, 2009. Seems to me there is a fairly large chance of incompatibility.

You could try right clicking on the setup program and/or the installed program and "Troubleshoot compatibility."
