    Hi There!

First go to the link below...it will perform a uick check to see if your browser has been hijacked or any parasites on the system.

    If that comes up clean,
Download AdAware. Install it, UPDATE IT, then scan your system and have it get rid of all the garbage it finds.

If, after that you still get the error,
Download HijackThis and post your log!

Sounds like this is a problem with Internet Explorer reading the script to that particular web site. Try going into internet optins under the tools menu "advanced" tab and make sure "disable script debugging" is checked and "Display a notification of every script error" is unchecked. You can also try hitting the "Default Level" under the security tab. And if you havent already done so, try upgrading to Internet Explorer 6 SP1 through the tools menu, "windows update."

IE has been upgraded....went and checked to see what was checked in options...I think the shockwave is installed it's just the flash that I really need and can't get......Really hope we can figure it out....

    Yes this is a challenge

If I remember correctly, Shockwave player already includes Flash, even though you can download them seperately.
Try this link to install Flash: http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash

    and Shockwave:

If you have a problem installing Flash by itself, download Shockwave player, as it includes Flash. You should be able to view whatever website you need see by installing Shockwave player alone.

In reference to your post Here ...... This appears to be a java script error. What happened when you Disabled script debugging and removed check from its sister notification selection?

PS: And no those two applications should not interfere with the download.

Post your belarc here since we do not want to confuse Joyoflifes thread with two sets of problems.

I am wondering if this whole mess with flash not working properly and not downloading has to do with Java. The problems I have worked on regarding flash all seem to mention Java somewhere in the threads. Joys is MSJava and she also had an error similiar to yours. Are you using the standard Java package supplied by microsoft? If so how about if we download Suns package and see where we can go with that.

    Download Sun Java package Here

Now that you have both Java packages on your machine you will have to let Internet Explorer know which on you want to use.
Here is a Website that details how to use the console.

Once the Sun Java is active make sure you restart your system and then see what happens when you attempt downloading flash.

I agree I think it's the Java....I downloaded Java Sun...went to tools and made sure it was checked and not VM Java...rebooted and the java cup is not on tool bar like it said....went to programs and Java web start is listed...went there and it is just drawing or art or something like that...I don't think the right one is loaded......
