Aloha,
I have the free mailwasher program 5.1.0 and was wondering where the deleted email goes when deleted in the mailwasher window. I know that it can be recovered if you purchase the pro version but would it be impossible with the free version?? TIA

I have a older Mailwasher 1.29 that still works great that was before a paid pro version came out and any email you delete get deleted from your ISP email server.
I did not know the Pro version lets you recover deleted email or do I see how it can unless you download it.

And you can't get deleted email back.

Q. Can I get deleted messages back?

A. Unfortunately not, you may be able to contact your internet service provider and see if they back up their messages. Otherwise you will have to write back to the sender if you can remember them and ask for their message again.

Aloha hewee,
Thanks for the reply and maybe I misinterpreted what I saw. I have the free mailwasher 5.1.0 and under tools, options, summary, recycle bin, there is a small block that you can put a check mark in (Allow deleted email to be restored from the summary screen). When I put a check mark in the box, it says I have to update to mailwasher pro. for that feature. I just assumed that summary, was a way to keep your deleted files (being able to restore later if wanted) before emptying the mailwasher trash bin. TIA

Well I don't have but the older version so can not look but from the FAQ it says "Unfortunately not" to getting deleted email back.

Then it says...

Q. How does MailWasher delete messages?

A. MailWasher deletes email directly off your internet providers server before it is downloaded.
I am guess the summary screen to mean what you see when you open mailwasher and check for email and it list your email.

Other online ways to check your email are at sites like these here that let you look at your email at the server. You have to use the very same user name and password you use now for your ISP email.
