Greetings! Over the past week or so, my computer has been really slowing down. I've done everything I can do (deleting unused files, apps). After doing so, nothing has improved. Virus scans show nothing, but I dont know what I could be.

    Log follows.

Find your My Computer icon. Right-click it, and then left click on Properties. In the screen that comes up, in a section called Computer or General, it should say how much memory you have.

Sorry for the response time, I've been busy for the holidays.

Following your instructions, I have 0.99 GB of RAM, 3.00 GHz.

    That's quite alright :)

Have you defragged the system lately?

    Nope.

I think I should have done that before I posted.

I shall do so, and return with the results!

Once again, sorry for the slow reply times.

I ran the defragmenter. Before it allowed me to do so, I had to run some chk/f operation. ( Don't remember the exact name). A quick google search soon got me on my way.

Anyways, the results are a little better. It is still sort of slow.

You could try disabling some of the unnecessary programs running at Startup.

Did you recently add any new software or hardware when the problem started

    No. :(

Ive gone and deleted any old programs that I dont use anymore as well.

I do have a lot of Adobe products installed on my computer. Many of them CS3. Do you think that they could slow it down a bit?

Yeah that is probably a possibility. I think those tend to use up a good deal of memory
