Yes, I downloaded it and using some gif smileys I had stored on my computer, worked great , had a series of smiley movements. I haven't resized or anything, but figured that could be done with IrfanView...Why...did you have trouble ??...Rhett

    rhettman5,

I just download it and glad you don't have to install anything.

It does not do much of anything but only animat the .gif you add to it.

Thats all it 's supposed to do ! If you use irfanView to convert bmp, or jpg to gif, then drag photos to this app, you should be able to create almost anything you want !..If you want to resize the gif, go here :http://www.gifworks.com/index.html to do that !

Just thought it was a handy little tool (sigh) back to the giffing board :( Rhett

This is kinda what I had in mind (see avitar) but I am new at this, so I need some time to play with it, I will get better. These were Icons, converted to gif's then put in the animator. All to show my shocK when Tech Guy's site went down !...Is there a easier way ??...Rhett

    rhettman5,

I thought you had other image programs.
Like the free ULEAD GIF ANIMATOR 2.0

    http://www.sover.net/~whoi/pricelessgraphics.html#AnimationEditor

I had used version 1 for years. It was LE and had some things grayed out but I hear version 2.0 all of it works.

I just did this in no time and it was easy.
None were the same size as you know if you have seen all of these. Will I know you seen yours.:D
What I did was pick a size and to make it easy I croped the smaller one and made it 130x130.
The took the next and that was a lot bigger resample it. I check the "keep aspect ratio" and then put 130 in either the W or H box. You don't want any of the image to go under 130 so that is why you only pick W or H. Then you crop it to get out anything that is over the 130 size. And that is easy because it only one side now.

It took me longer to make this post then the .gif.
Well maybe not but it was east.

I did this with ULEAD GIF ANIMATOR 4.0 but it like 1.0 so 2.0 must be the same. They changed things on 5.0

Are you talking about about the help?

    I have them for ULEAD GIF ANIMATOR 1.0, 4.0 and 5.0 but I don't have 2.0

But 4.0 is like 1.0 so I could send the 3 help files. It's 204KB

OK I downloaded ULEAD GIF ANIMATOR 2.0 and it's all there.

It is like version 1.0Lite that I have. But all of it works because it is a paid version with nothing grayed out.

:D All I need to get is 3.0 so I will have all versions.
But I will say version 4.0 is easier to use because it has "select all", "resample", "undo & redo buttons" and also a easiers layout.

But hey ANIMATOR 2.0 is a full paid version that is FREE.

So ask if you need help and I will try to help.

I was mostly giving you a bad time! Perhaps now that the weekend is here, I will have some time to play with the program.

After, of course , I watch Gonzaga squash Pepperdine in NCAA basketball tonight ! :D ....Rhett
