For the last eight years I have had TBird remembering the password for collecting mail but I have had to manually enter the password for sending. That's the way I want it to stay. However, I recently changed web hosting services and TBird is asking me to manually enter the password for collecting mail as well.

How do I make TBird remember the password for collecting mail but still require a manually-entered password for sending mail?

In case it matters, I'm still using the same e-mail addresses and domain TBird... for all addresses.

It was your domain Alex and since it's a unique one don't you think it would be easy for the bots or even humans to guess an email address that might eventually work? However, if you're not concerned about it that's fine but we just wanted to err on the side of caution, so to speak. :)

Thanks for watching out for me. I guess I must be incorrectly recalling what I posted.
