making initrd.img

    i need to setup initrd.img for grub....but i dont want to recompile..

    what is the command for this....i forget to include --initrd in the make-kpkg command for the custom kernel (2.6.8.xxx) :eek: :eek: :eek:

    Hmm... I don't use initrd, so I'm not sure. I think that as long as everything is the same in the linux dir, you can re run make-kpkg with -initrd and it should make one.
