I have a VAIO PCV F31M. It came loaded with Windows XP. I upgraded to Vista and now to Windows 7. All going well but my Window leaves approx 1.5" blank on either side. Could some kind Member advise me how to make it fit the width of my screen please? Height is fine, width is the problem. Many thanks.

At a guess, I'd say that your laptop has a widescreen LCD panel and that your graphics adapter is outputting a 4:3 (non-widescreen) signal. Try changing the screen resolution under the graphics properties; in XP/Vista you can get this by right-clicking on the desktop, I'm not sure with 7.

If that fails, then find out what chipset your graphics adapter uses and search for an updated driver for Windows 7, or visit the sony support site and see if they provide Windows 7 drivers.
