    Hi,
I have a friend who's computer may still be infected with some malware that prevent him from updating windows. When using firefox/ IE to get to the microsoft update site, it shows 'page cannot be displayed'. He has no problem surfing the microsoft site or any other sites except updating. No redirects either. MBAM detected 2 trojans and a trojan DNS changer. We have tried sfc /scannow and resetting winsock. Automatic updates is on.
