Hello Zacco. Welcome. I am reviewing your HijackThis log now and will be back with a reply as soon as possible.

Please note that I am currently an undergraduate at a malware removal school which means that all of my responses are checked by an expert (teacher) before they reach the persons that I am helping. So there may be a slight lag in response time, but this assures that you receive quality assistance and that I get properly trained. Your patience is appreciated.:)

Here are a few tips to help make things go smoothly:

    • * Feel free to stop and ask about anything that you are unsure of before proceeding.
      * It is often worth reading through the instructions and printing them for ease of reference.
      * Please reply only to this thread rather than start a new one.
      * Leave System Restore enabled during the handling.
      * If possible, continue to follow the topic until the system is pronounced clean; absence of symptoms does not necessarily mean absence of all malware.

You're quite welcome. Cheeseball81 has closed the duplicate thread and we will be continuing with this one to avoid confusion.
Let's go ahead with the Smitfraud fix.

    Please download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri)

    Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe.
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.

**If the tool fails to launch from the Desktop, please move SmitfraudFix.exe directly to the root of the system drive (usually C:), and launch from there.

Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.

You should print out these instructions, or copy them to a NotePad file for reading while in Safe Mode, because you will not be able to connect to the Internet to read from this site.

Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :
    • Restart your computer
    • After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
    • Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu with options should appear;
    • Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press "Enter".
    • Choose your usual account.
Once in Safe Mode, double-click on SmitfraudFix.exe
Select option #2 - Clean by typing 2 and press "Enter" to delete infected files.

You will be prompted : "Registry cleaning - Do you want to clean the registry ?"; answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter" in order to remove the Desktop background and clean registry keys associated with the infection.

The tool will now check if wininet.dll is infected. You may be prompted to replace the infected file (if found); answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter".

The tool may need to restart your computer to finish the cleaning process; if it doesn't, please restart it into Normal Windows.
A text file will appear onscreen, with results from the cleaning process; please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.
The report can also be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt

Warning : running option #2 on a non infected computer will remove your Desktop background.

OK, a couple of more things now.

I would suggest uninstalling"errorkiller" and there is a newer version of Java available now. It is important to have the latest updates for java not only for Java applets but to reduce chances of certain infection as well.
First go to "Control Panel" > "Add/Remove Programs" and find jre1.5.0_01 (under "Java"). Click the entry once to highlight it, then click the "Remove" button to uninstall it. If the java uninstaller prompts you to reboot to complete the uninstallation, do so.

From the same Add/Remove list also find and remove errorkiller and 360Share Pro.

I noticed that you have Limewire installed. I must offer a word of warning here about using p2p programs; much of what is downloaded from them contains malware. It's your choice but if you decide to remove Limewire you can select it from the list too.

    Then go here
    http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp

    • * Click the Download button next to Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6

      * You should be taken to a page that says Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 6

      * Click to put a dot in the circle where it says, "Accept license agreement".

      * Then, from the Windows Platform box at the top of the list, click where it says, "Windows Online Installation, Multi-language".

      * Choose to run the installation.

Note: If you are using Firefox for the download you may need to save the file to your pc and then locate the saved file and double-click on it to run the installer.

Download and install CCleaner from here.
Do not run CCleaner just yet.

    Launch AVG Anti-Spyware
    • On the main screen under Your Computer's security.
      • Click on Change state next to Resident shield. It should now change to inactive.
      • Click on Change state next to Automatic updates. It should now change to inactive.
      • Next to Last Update, click on Update now. (You will need an active internet connection to perform this)
      • Wait until you see the Update succesfull message.
    • Right-click the AVG Anti-Spyware Tray Icon and uncheck Start with Windows.
    • Right-click the AVG Anti-Spyware Tray Icon and select Exit. Confirm by clicking Yes.
If you are having problems with the updater, you can use this link to manually update AVG Antispyware.
    AVG Anti-Spyware manual updates.
Download the Full database to your Desktop or to your usual Download Folder and install it by double clicking the file. Make sure that AVG Anti-Spyware is closed before installing the update.

Now we need to disable AVG Anti-Spyware to ensure that it does not try to block the changes that we are about to make:
    • Right-click the AVG icon in the System Tray with the “S” on it.
    • If there is a check mark by “Resident Shield”, click on it to remove the check.
    • The icon should be gray now instead of mulit-colored.

Next, open HijackThis again, do a system scan only, and when it finishes place a check before the following lines:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [errorkiller] "C:\Program Files\errorkiller\errorkiller.exe" -boot -- uninstall it/del folder/HJT fix

    O4 - Startup: 360Share Pro On Startup.lnk = C:\Program Files\360Share Pro\Gui\360Share Pro.exe uninstall/del folder/HJT fix

    and this one...

    O4 - Startup: LimeWire On Startup.lnk = C:\Program Files\LimeWire\LimeWire.exe
...if you choose not to run Limewire on startup.

Then make sure ALL windows are closed except HijackThis and hit the "Fix checked" button.

Now, boot the computer into Safe Mode

    • # Restart your computer.
      # When the machine first starts again it will generally list some equipment that is installed in your machine, amount of memory, hard drives installed etc. At this point you should gently tap the F8 key repeatedly until you are presented with a Windows XP Advanced Options menu.
      #Choose your usual account.
      # Select the option for Safe Mode using the arrow keys.
      # Then press enter on your keyboard to boot into Safe Mode.

In Safe Mode navigate to and delete the following folders marked in bold if present. Delete ONLY part in bold.

    • C:\Program Files\errorkiller

      C:\Program Files\360Share Pro

      C:\Program Files\LimeWire <--(Optional)

    Then Run CCleaner:

    • * Double-click it's desktop icon to open the program.
      * Click the "Options" button, then click "Advanced".
      * Uncheck, "Only delete files in Windows Temp folders older than 48 hours".
      * Click the "Cleaner" button (where the brush is.)
      * Click the "Run Cleaner" button.
      * Click "OK" to proceed.
      * Let it scan and clean until it's finished, and when it says, "Cleaning complete" in the status window, exit the program.
Note: Please do not use the "Issues" button on CCleaner as this may lead to problems.

    Run AVG Antispyware
Close ALL open Windows / Programs / Folders. Please start AVG Anti-Spyware and run a full scan.
    • Click on Scanner on the toolbar.
    • Click on the Settings tab.
      • Under How to act?
        • Click on Recommended Action and choose Quarantine from the popup menu.
      • Under How to scan?
        • All checkboxes should be ticked.
      • Under Possibly unwanted software:
        • All checkboxes should be ticked.
      • Under Reports:
        • Select Automatically generate report after every scan and uncheck Only if threats were found.
      • Under What to scan?
        • Select Scan every file.
    • Click on the Scan tab.
    • Click on Complete System Scan to start the scan process.
    • Let the program scan the machine.
    • When the scan has finished, follow the instructions below.
IMPORTANT : Don't click on the "Save Scan Report" button before you did hit the "Apply all Actions" button.
      • Make sure that Set all elements to: shows Quarantine (1), if not click on the link and choose Quarantine from the popup menu. (2)
      • At the bottom of the window click on the Apply all Actions button. (3)
    • When done, click the Save Scan Report button. (4)
      • Click the Save Report as button.
      • Save the report to your Desktop.
    • Right-click the AVG Anti-Spyware Tray Icon and select Exit. Confirm by clicking Yes.
    Reboot in Normal Mode.

Then please post the report from AVG Antispyware and and new HijackThis log.
