In XP, How can I set windows to mark the links I have visited while surfing with IE ? Some pages mark O.K., but others don't. When I had 95 and 98, windows had a feature to change the color of visited links, etc. can this be done with XP ?

Also, when I go to Internet Options, and set "Connections" to always dial my default connection, it changes by itself to " Never Dial a connection" when I shut down and reboot. What's the problem?

Try Tools, Internet Options, General tab, press the Colors button, That will enable you to change the visited color.
Not sure on your second problem, sorry.:(
