    hi -

i have a logitech wireless keyboard (model yrak73) and am running windows xp. on the keyboard, there are buttons that can raise, lower, and mute the volume of the computer. however, it raises, lowers, and mutes the master volume. the master volume on my pc does nothing. however, the wave control does work for sound.

    so...

    1) is there any way to make the master volume work and control the sound?

    or

    2) can i change my keyboard's settings so that it raises, lowers, and mutes the wave control instead?

    thanks for any help

i have a logitech multimedia keyboard but it's usb connected, but prob basically the same. the volume control only works with the "master" sound volume, will not control wave volume & don't think it can be configured that way either! u may have 2 just learn how 2 work with the different volume settings, i did lol. otherwise, try the logitech website forums... good luck :D
