Maxed Out C Drive

You can move files by simply dragging and dropping in Windows Explorer or My Computer (use the CTRL key to MOVE files from one drive to another).

However, most programs will have to be uninstalled and reinstalled on the new drive so Windows can find them. The same problem (to a much lesser extent) exists with data files... you will have to tell each program where to find its files if you move them.

You might try searching your "C" drive for large files (like music and movies) to either move or burn to CD, or delete

The only programs that take up much space are games that are fully installed with the movies and such.

BTW..."D" is a hard drive and not a CDROM (CDRW)?
