Maxtor Trouble

    I recenly did a PC pit stop test and everything was a-ok exept for this

    Hi Java624,

    I am very surprised ! I have exactly the same model of hard drive mounted as master with a CD Rom drive slaved on the same ribbon.
    I run Windows 2000 Pro and three weeks ago I made the same test Pcpitstop. And everything was OK.
    I had a look at the link you posted. I suggest you to run the Pcpitstop without Norton being activated. Before I made my own test, I switched off both my anti-virus an firewall.

    Hi,

    Ok I ran it without the Firewall on...But not the AV let me turn that off and see if I get the same result....

    I also wanted to point out that I recently reformatted so I might not have something installed
