maxtor usb 160gb one step sata driver

    have usb maxtor one step 160gb hdd and need a sata driver to boot a system from it when I enable it from the bios.

    Externals need no SATA drivers. All the system sees is the USB interface. If your system will boot from USB, you need nothing else. But the drive needs to be bootable, contain a boot sector, MBR, and have the needed boot files. What OS are you trying to boot from the USB?
