Recently, I installed the most current version of McAfee AV... build 10.0.27.

No problems, but a small annoyance that goes like this.

When I put my PC into sleep mode and then later resume, more often than not, McAfee is "disabled." When I click around in security center, I cannot find a way to re-enable. Typically, I have to restart the PC.

This is very different from the immediately previous version where there was a straight-forward way to "enable" during such situations.

Maybe I am just missing it in the new user interface, but I have hunted and come up empty.

    Any guidance appreciated.

When the main screen comes up, click on Computer & Files, then click on Configure, see if you can use the On/Off button for Virus Protection.

    Thanks.

I swear I looked at that numerous times, but do not recall an on/off button.

However, I will look again... sometimes you just become "blind" to certain things.

OK... tried again... did not see anyting that allowed me to toggle on/off or enable/disable.

Quite sure now I am not blind.

    ;-)
