You're welcome. A lot depends on the nature of the program the file is related to. Sometimes executables get detected and then that might be fixed as a false positive and then it will get detected again because of a future definition file probably based on heuristics which means it's behaviour-related and not due to it being known malware.Thanks cookiegal. I'll keep that in mind next time my exe file is quarantined. Curiously, McAfee Antivirus Plus is not consistent when it scans my computer in that sometimes it quarantines the exe file while most of the time it does not. Appreciate the advice.
