ME Complete Crash!!

HELP!!! My PC has crashed! I am on a friend's computer now.

here is how it happened. I clicked on the AOL icon, and the little box popped up and said that AOL is loading. Then, i get a Blue screen of death and it tells me to push y to keep the PC on or hit N to shut it down. I hit n and now Whenever i turn it on Windows doesnt load. It shows the Windows ME startup screen, and then it shows my background and pointer but thats it. If I hit ctrl+alt+delete the only two programs running are devldr16 and CSinject. Does anyone know how to fix this other than reinstalling Windows? I have tried to install it over itself but it told me that I have crosslinked files and that it wont work.

 

can you boot into safe mode?
and remember the last thing you did/downloaded/installed before the problem occured? and make sure you either uninstall or disable it from loading.
