Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone knows why Windows ME is not one of the requirements for the office converter pack(oconvpck.exe) from Microsoft. When I went to look at the requirements for the pack, I do not see Windows ME included in the requirements. Am I to assume that since I have Windows ME that the Office Converter pack(oconvpck.exe) will not work on my Windows ME computer? I have Office 97, and Windows ME, and have some documents that were made on Office 2003, and I was going to see if they could be read on my home machine which has Office 97, so I figured they probably couldn`t be read without a converter, so I went to Microsoft site to d/l the converter pck(supposed to convert all forms of office from 97-2003 so they can be read), but when I went to check out the requirements for the pack,Windows ME is not included, or am I missing something. Any thoughts/help/ideas appreciated.

    Regards
    IMP

    Yes, you are missing something.

There was never a version of Office ME.
Do not confuse Windows versions with Office Versions, they are entirely different.

As far as Windows versions go, ME is officially included in the Windows 9x range as well, (95/98/ME). But this info is irrelevant to your needs.
