Any idea where this junk came from and how to get rid of it ??
It's making me nervous.

It comes with WMP, you can just leave it, nothing to worry about. You should get 11, it made some good visual improvements. :)

But this "branding" is not on my Master "source" Hard drive ???
It's something that's been added after I cloned my master to my working HD about 2 months ago.

I know someone else who is complaining about this.
He's blaming this on his 15 year old son ... :D :D

Sure don't think I'm gonna like this Vista HP .. thank heavens it's not on my main HD.

I noticed those on-line stores as soon as I installed WMP 10 which was quite a while ago. At first there was MSN music and a couple others. Since then more and more have been added.

I think Bill Gates figured he needed some more money so he hopped on the music download bandwagon.

Hummmm .. Back on my XP MCE disc ..
Just updated to MP11 as suggested ... and got Napster (whatever that is).

Don't know if this setting carried up from MP 10.
I really hate getting fed all this trash .. (in words that TSG will allow)

Guess I'll have to live with it .. but I think it's going to get worse.

Something's not right with the sound from MP11 .. going to see if I can backup.

Join the club. You should have stuck with WMP10. The folks (I actually have a better word for them) recommending WMP11 are ignoring all the posts on this site from the many nightmares it is causing.

I haven't had any problems with it, though I have only used it for a few days.

I was in luck .. removing the update and rebooting .. rolls back to MP10.
.... Just like the IE7 Joke.

This did not fix what I thought was a problem... seems like the audio is over modulated on some songs.
