media player burns the same songs twice

    hi i am running windows 7 media player.Everytime i burn a music cd the player burns all the songs twice. you dont notice its done it untill i reinsert the cd then you see in the list that there are two copies of every song.Is there a setting im missing or is it an error. If someone could help that would be great.

    Uninstall Windows Media Player and reinstall. Make sure your Windows 7 is up to date.

    Windows Media Player is great for playing audio and video clips, but it can be problematic when burning.

    You will have better success with using a third-party CD/DVD burning program.

    Here is a good user-friendly one, and it's free.
