I have been perusing the MM website and forums regarding using MM with the Mac OS.

I see information about downloading PlayOnMac, configuring the sound driver, adding other applications, etc. Are ALL of these things necessary to use MM on my Mac?

I would like to find a good alternative to iTunes because I don't like the way it reorganizes directories, among other issues. But going through the process of downloading other applications, besides MM, configuring sound drivers, etc. is something I don't feel comfortable doing because it sounds too complicated.
